Ghost Note Strum - Mandolin Technique Lesson
This video shows you how to do the Ghost Note Strum, a percussive technique that I use a lot for a more expressive mandolin style. A ghost note has a rhythmic value but not a pitch. So, when you mute the strings with your fretting hand and strike them with the pick, that is a ghost note. We are doing an A-major and C-Major scale exercise in the closed position. Sheet music, tabs, and instructions for this tune you’ll find in Mandolin Secrets Academy. 🔴 Subscribe for more free mandolin music and lessons: https://goo.gl/Sc1B8t 🔴Share this video with a friend: https://youtu.be/UuETD27LFZU ✅ Level Up You Mandolin Playing Today! https://bit.ly/3BfmUe1 ✅ Be a Music Maker! - Join Our Free Facebook Group https://bit.ly/3uGWIaP ✅ Listen to our podcast for pro tips, inspiration, and stories! https://bit.ly/3oJH7Ui
