Da Slockit Light (the dying light) is a tune by Tom Anderson, from Shetland. He made a major contribution to Shetland folk music as a fiddler, composer and educator. He was responsible for putting traditional fiddle on the syllabus in Shetland schools. In this fiddle lesson I show the basic tune, with on-screen sheet music, and suggest some ornamentation.
