This video came about when I was thinking of all the things I struggled with at the beginning, when I first started to try and play the fiddle. My playing was so wooden, you could have made a boat and gone sailing. Then after a while you get a sail, then a rudder, then maybe a set of oars and before you know where you are your fiddling starts to make people want to start dancing.
