Joseph,Joseph! (Yossel,Yossel); violin lesson
Joseph, Joseph was written in 1923 by Nellie Casman and Samuel Steinberg, for a Yiddish Theatre production in New York. It was made famous in 1938 by the Andrews Sisters. In this violin lesson I demonstrate the basic melody of the chorus, and show how it can be played in either Gypsy Jazz or klezmer style.
